Tell us what you avoid. When you scan a food label, we check it against your lists, catch the other names an ingredient goes by, and say so when we couldn't read the label well enough to check. Your lists are kept in this browser, not in an account, and we don't receive them.

Additive sensitivities (0)
- Sulfite-sensitiveFlag ingredients that release SO₂ — a documented asthma and anaphylaxis trigger for an estimated 5–10% of asthmatics.
- Phenylketonuria (PKU) — AspartameFlag ingredients containing phenylalanine. Mandatory warning for PKU patients.
- MSG-sensitiveFlag free-glutamate sources (MSG and its variants) and the umami-amplifying ribonucleotides.
- Vegan — animal- or insect-derivedFlag ingredients derived from animals or insects (cochineal, beeswax, shellac, bone phosphate, L-cysteine).
- From insectsFlag only the additives that are insects: cochineal beetles (E120), honeybee wax (E901), lac-insect resin (E904). Narrower than the vegan flag, which also covers bone and feather sources.
- Polyol-intolerant (IBS / FODMAP)Flag sugar alcohols — common GI triggers (osmotic diarrhea, bloating). Combined exposure stacks faster.
- Azo-dye sensitive (children's hyperactivity, asthma)Flag synthetic azo dyes implicated in the Southampton study and EU mandatory child-hyperactivity warning.
- Phosphate-restricted (CKD)Flag added phosphates — relevant for chronic kidney disease and ongoing bone-health observational research.
