Delete your account
Permanent and immediate. Here is what it removes and what it can't reach.
Deleted straight away
- Your sign-in: the email address and any Google sign-in linked to it
- Your display name and whether your discoveries are shown under it
- Products you scanned while signed in
- Ingredient combinations you saved in the Laboratory
- Ingredient pages you opened while signed in
- Prices you saved for products
- Your plan, and until when it runs
- Full reports your Basic allowance opened
- Ingredient Plus days you earned by adding and confirming products
- Your founding-contributor place, if you hold one
Kept, without your name
- Products you were the first to photograph — they stay in the shared catalog without your name
- Readings you confirmed or disputed — they stay without your name, but no longer count towards a product's verified status
Not in your account at all
Your diary, your allergens and sensitivities, and the scan history kept in this browser are stored on your device, so deleting the account doesn't touch them. The diary has its own Diary → Backup & export → Erase everything; clearing this site's data in your browser's settings removes all of it.
Kept by our providers for a time
Records of past sign-ins (IP address and browser) kept by our sign-in provider, Supabase, and copies in our providers' backups, may remain for the periods those services set.
